How Roxy's Garden came to be...

We have all been to a "typical" flower shop. The identical arrangements fill the windows, and the ordering process is usually impersonal. Well, you could say Roxy’s Garden is just the opposite. Roxy’s Garden is me; however, my name is not Roxy; it’s Kari. The name was inspired years ago by my beloved basset hound, Foxy Roxy.

After cleaning buckets and learning proper flower care and names, I quickly realized I had already found my calling. Over the last 15 years, I have been lucky enough to work for amazing women in the floral industry, but I have never owned my own. Moving to Louisiana and turning 50 gave me the courage to start a new chapter in my life, and hopefully, I have shown my children that you are never too old to make a dream come true!

Because of my experience bringing designs from dreams to fruition, I truly feel that I have the unique ability to bring all the pieces of your vision together through flowers. Beautiful objects consistently inspire me, and what could possibly be more beautiful than flowers?

I consider it an honor to design for brides on the most important day of their lives, and I do not take that job lightly. Please consider letting me tell your story. Whether that story is airy and romantic or dark and moody, no bloom is ever placed without intention, and my goal is to deliver a product that is beyond our client’s dreams.
